are being envisaged under the sixth-five
year plan. After implementation, these

Appraisal
of Gas Fields (3-D Seismic) (Titas,
Bakhrabad, Sylhet(Haripur), Kailashtilla
and Rashidpur):
The
project for to appraise the gas
fields namely Sylhet, Kailashtilla
and Rashidpur (owned by SGFL)
through 3-D seismic survey. Total
project cost of Tk. 822.03 million
(SGFL part) including a foreign
currency component of Tk. 446.69
million. The project has started
in January 2006 and is expected
to be completed by June 2010.

Installation of a 3x1250 bbl/day
capacity Condensate Fractionation
Plant at Rashidpur Gas Field:
The
project will be implemented
in two phases. In 1st phase
installation of a 2500 bbl/day
capacity Condensate Fractionation
Plant at Rashidpur Gas Field
to fractionate condensate of
Bibiyana Gas Field into marketable
petroleum products like MS (Motor
Spirit), Kerosene and DBS (Diesel
Blending Stock). Total project
cost of Tk. 1585.553 million
including a foreign currency
component of Tk. 1351.888 million.
The implementation of the project
has started in January 2006
and expected to be completed
by June 2009.

Setting up a 1 x 45 MMCFD MSTE Type
Plant at Kailashtilla Gas Field:
A
project is now under implementation
to install a 45 - mmscfd capacity
MSTE plant at KGF with a view
to extract condensate and NGL
at an enhanced rate. The total
project expenditure is Tk. 1403.967
million including foreign currency
component of 1242.207 million.
The implementation has started
in January 2004 and is expected
to be completed by December 2009.
Re-tender has been invited on
21st September, 2008 and will
be opened on 27th November, 2008.

Well Testing & Pressure Survey
Activities:
It
was decided to conduct bottom
hole pressure survey and well
testing programme on the wells
of SGFL. Accordingly, well testing
and bottom hole pressure survey
activities was conducted on the
nine wells of SGFL. The pressure
survey was completed in December
2007. The survey was done by M/S
Al-Mansoori Specialized Engineering
Services LLC., UAE.
