** Work over of Sylhet-7(Haripur) gas well ongoing
**Installation, Commissioning and Test Run of 2500-bbl/day capacity condensate fractionation plant at Rashidpur Field has been completed and commercial production started on August 1, 2009. Motor spirit, diesel and Kerosine oil are being produced from this plant. The products are being marketed to oil marketing companies of BPC. The plant having state-of-the-art technology would enhance the revenue income of the company side by side reducing the import expenditure of liquid petroleum products.
*Mr. Mohammad Mohsin, Honorable Secretary, EMRD, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources paid a visit to the newly-built Condensate Fractionation Plant at Rashidpur on 8 August, 2009. Honorable Chairmen of Petrobangla and BPC accompanied the Secretary during the visit. Other officials including Director (Operations and Mines) of Petrobangla, Managing Directors of SGFL and, RPGCL, Deputy Commissioner of Habiganj District were present during the occassion.
*In the second phase, installation of 1250-bbl/day capacity Condensate Fractionation Plant in the same premises is underway.
